
What a year it’s been. The pinnacle has to be becoming the first restaurant in Malta to receive two Michelin stars – an achievement that we dreamed of but didn’t think would come true so soon after opening. This recognition spurred us on, and the continued hard work of our team resulted in incredible accolades, including being recognised as one of the Best Restaurants in Malta in The Definitively Good Guide To Restaurants and La LISTE’s top 1,000 restaurants in the world, as well as receiving Three Forks – Forbes Travel Guide’s highest award for restaurants.
None of this would be possible without our team, who have wholeheartedly embraced our farm-to-table ethos, born in the Lake District and transported thousands of miles to the beautiful Maltese capital. They have worked tirelesly to uphold this philosophy, taking time out of their busy days to forage with our head of sustainability Keith Abela, or to learn from him about the Maltese ecosystem. Nor would it be possible without the support of the brilliant team at Iniala Harbour House, who welcome all our guests so warmly.
Looking ahead we are so excited of what’s to come. Forging more partnerships with local producers, our new series of sustainability workshops with our kitchen team and almost finalising our own growing space, we cannot wait to continue on this journey. Stay tuned for more details, coming soon.
