It’s almost here – our favourite time of the year – The Malta International Fireworks Festival. This annual celebration returns to the Grand Harbour on April 22nd, 25th, and the grand finale on the 30th.
The traditional craft of making fireworks in Malta has been proudly passed down for generations, deeply embedded in the island’s culture. The Malta International Fireworks Festival, which began in 2001, pays homage to these centuries-old customs by bringing together talented teams from Malta and around the globe to compete in creating breathtaking firework displays.
Adding to the excitement this year, the festival will feature a Pyrotechnical Musical competition, where fireworks are expertly choreographed to synchronize with musical compositions.
