In celebration of Women’s Day, we’ve curated a special wine pairing featuring exceptional wines created by talented women from around the world. Join us at ION Harbour for an evening dedicated to honouring their passion, creativity, and expertise.

Susana Balbo – Signature Chardonnay (Argentina)
Susana Balbo is Argentina’s first female winemaker and a pioneer in the country’s modern wine industry. She has been a leading figure in elevating Argentinian wines globally and is known for her innovative approach to winemaking.
Clau de Nell – Anjou Blanc (Anne-Claude Leflaive) (France)
Anne-Claude Leflaive was one of the most influential women in Burgundy, known for her commitment to biodynamics. She extended her passion to Clau de Nell in the Loire Valley, creating exceptional natural wines before her passing in 2015.
Sybille Kuntz – Kabinett Riesling (Germany)
Sybille Kuntz is a respected female winemaker in the Mosel region, known for her dry, high-quality Rieslings. She took over the family estate in the 1980s and transformed it into a producer of biodynamic wines.
Gut Oggau – Theodora (Austria)
Theodora is part of the character-based wine series from Gut Oggau, run by Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck. Stephanie, a driving force behind the project, emphasizes biodynamics and minimal intervention winemaking.
R. López de Heredia – Viña Tondonia Rioja Reserva (Spain)
María José López de Heredia is at the helm of this historic Rioja estate, continuing her family’s winemaking legacy. She is one of the most influential women in Spanish wine, preserving traditional winemaking techniques.
Vasse Felix – Semillon Cane Cut (Australia)
Virginia Willcock, the chief winemaker at Vasse Felix, is one of Australia’s most respected winemakers. She has played a key role in defining the style of Margaret River wines, particularly Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Quinta de la Rosa – Colheita 2012 (Portugal)
Sophia Bergqvist runs Quinta de la Rosa, one of the few female-led estates in the Douro Valley. She has modernized the winery while maintaining its family heritage, producing excellent Port and dry wines.
